She spends an inordinate amount of time consuming media, whether it's in the form of television, books, movies, or video games. When she's not in front of a screen, Amanda can usually be found hiking her favorite trails, making another pot of coffee, or dealing with her cat's antics.

She's worked in entertainment journalism since 2017, and her writing can be found on websites like Comic Book Resources, FanSided, Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Paste Magazine, and Tell-Tale TV. Amanda covers TV and movies of all kinds, but she's especially passionate about book adaptations, fantasy and sci-fi releases, and animation. Her favorite parts of her job involve interviewing creatives and helping writers transform their work. Prior to moving to entertainment journalism full-time, Amanda was an editor for the B2B publications Sound & Communications and The Music & Sound Retailer.
Favorite Media
Amanda's favorite media takes her out of the real world and into more fantastical settings. She's a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games, and Star Wars. Some of her favorite TV shows include Game of Thrones, The Boys, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The 100. Amanda will never say no to anything involving anime or Baby Yoda.
